After more than 20 years working with design and UX at major tech companies in Brazil, I changed not only countries but also careers — today I’m a freelance illustrator living in Porto, fully dedicated to creating art.
My style leans toward cartoon, with bold and distinctive lines. I love capturing everyday moments — those simple scenes that end up telling the best stories. I’m also a big fan of science fiction and horror comics, which have been with me for as long as I can remember and were my greatest drawing school.
Getting back into urban sketching led me to rediscover watercolor and other traditional techniques, especially while joining the Urban Sketchers meetups here in the north of Portugal. That’s why you’ll find plenty of sketchbook pages and watercolors throughout my portfolio.
When I’m not drawing, I’m with my wife, my kids, and our cats… and to be honest, there’s probably a sketchbook in my hand anyway.
