Cine Batalha Porto a Drawing in Black Ink

A sunny afternoon, at Praça da Batalha, right in front of Cine Batalha.
Another walk through central Porto. Another drawing of a place that was still new to me, the Batalha cinema center. We were coming from Praça dos Poleiros and ended up heading to Gazela for some hot dogs. We stopped in the square for a bit. I managed to make this drawing of the building, which had reopened not long before, after a good while under renovation.
I love the movies, but I still haven’t managed to catch a film at the Batalha. We’ll go soon, plenty of off-circuit films will be showing there.
This drawing was made only with the brush pen, in ink, no mid-tones. Just black and the color of this sketchbook’s old paper. I loved that combination, I want to make a lot more like this.
