Street Music in Porto, a Saxophone on a Random Day

In Porto, life has been like this: a few walks, some random loops around the city. Between one bar and another, you always run into street musicians, giving off that multicultural sound I think is so cool here.
This watercolor is of a guy from the Amazon, who brought a different color and sound to that day. I was at Cordoaria, and out of nowhere he just showed up with his sax. He started playing, without asking permission, not caring whether it was the right spot.
He was exactly what was missing there, without anyone noticing. He played his songs, got applause from the tourists, passed the hat around collecting tips, and left. What stayed was that good moment of having that music in the air. That music from the north, so familiar to the people standing there, whom I didn’t even know.
