Last Saturday, we were in Lisbon to catch up with an old friend. From another century, to be exact. It happened down one of the narrow streets of Alfama, in a quiet corner of one of the tascas around there. We caught up on hours of conversation that had been on hold for far too long.

I finished this watercolor in the hotel room the next morning. It’s one of those meetups in Lisbon that made me love the city a little more. After all, it’s the people who make it what it is.
