Bracara Augusta, a Cycle Closed in Watercolor

This watercolor closes a cycle, or almost. Last year, around this same time, I bought this sketchbook and made the first drawing in it. Same festival, same music, same dances. And all that energy painted like a Roman celebration, in honor of the ancient founders of this city, which now feels so different.
On the first page of the sketchbook, one dancer was spinning and dancing. On this last page, I’m adding two more Roman dancers who were performing there too.
